Foundation Fieldbus (FF) network: Integration via Modbus TCP including redundancy
Using Softing’s FG-200 FF, it is possible to integrate up to four H1 FOUNDATION™ foundation fieldbus (FF) links into control systems, supporting Modbus TCP. The Softing FG-200 FF gateway provides redundancy and is suitable for use in hazardous areas. This device provides rapid access to process data, while utilizing Fieldbus Delivery (FF) benefits, such as reduced cabling, central field device parameterization, comprehensive diagnostics, or intrinsically secure device segments. The gateway is compatible with 9419 series and 9412 series products from the R. STAHL Bus-Carrier series for easy commissioning.

- Optional support for the STHAL Carrier 9419 Bus and Fieldbus 9412 Power Supply (wiring reduced to a minimum)
- Import Modbus data to a web server reducing mapping efforts
